7th Winship GI and GU Cancer Symposium

The Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University is pleased to invite you to the 7th Annual Winship Gastrointestinal (GI) and Genitourinary (GU) Cancer Symposium to be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Rollins Auditorium, Emory University Health Sciences Research Building, 1760 Haygood Drive, NE Atlanta, GA 30322. This year’s symposium will explore the latest procedures, technology and medical treatments for patients with GI and GU cancers. Recent national guidelines will be reviewed and emphasis will be given to multi-disciplinary care, recently FDA-approved drug therapies and upcoming clinical trials. Ample time will be given for case discussions by a multidisciplinary panel and attendees are invited to submit their clinical cases to mboone2@emory.edu

Target Audience: This symposium is intended for medical, surgical and radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists, urologists, colorectal and urological surgeons, interventional radiologists, oncology nurses and physician assistants. Attendance by trainees is also highly encouraged.

Continuing Education Credit: The Emory University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.75 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component enables the participant to earn up to 5.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.
